What is home staging? “The way we live in a home, and the way we market a home are two different things.” Staging is not decorating, that would be personalizing. Home Staging is de-personalizing. It is turning a home into the closest thing to a model home, using the resources you have; or in a vacant home, renting or obtaining furniture from another source. It is preparing a home to sell. “If you are going to sell your car, you would detail it. So, if you are going to sell your most valuable asset, why wouldn’t you detail that as well?
